Bulletin Board

The Bulletin Board Ministry is responsible for reinforcing previously announced information by attractively displaying designated church notices.

Bus Ministry

Church members volunteer as bus drivers to pick up members in need of transportation to church or church sponsored activities. They also assist in alleviating appropriately identified transportation of other ministries.
Membership: Good driving record (no points); at least 25 years of age
Meeting Time: Announced as needed

Nursery

This children's ministry is for those little ones between the ages of newborn and six years old. The nursery opens at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday. While their parents worship in the sanctuary, children can be left in the nursery and engage in meaningful activities under the supervision of a fully trained, qualified staff.
Membership: Child Care Workers
Meeting Time: Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

Seniors

The Senior Missionaries are devoted to improving the welfare of those in the church and the community. They spread the Word of God in a manner that will draw others to Christ. Ongoing projects include giving food, clothes or assistance to others in emergency situations, and participation in birthday celebrations for residents of the Maryland Baptist Aged Home.
Membership: Women who are committed to enhancing the lives of those in need
Meeting Time: Third Saturday at 1 p.m.

Culinary

The Culinary Ministry ensures the preparing and serving of food during designated church functions. A clean and sterilized kitchen facility, equipment and appliances must be maintained. Supplies must be replaced as needed.
Membership: Adult members
Meeting Time: First Saturday at 1 p.m. near the kitchen

Loving Care

Members of the Loving Care Ministry provide assistance to GTBC members and their families who are involved in crisis situations, i.e., death, illness, fire, etc. Responsibilities include rendering those services that promote spiritual and emotional support by giving, sharing, and loving in a manner that is pleasing to Christ.

Security

The Security Ministry provides watchful eyes and ears for the Church. Their responsibilities include assisting in parking, providing security for parishioners while entering and exiting the church, and observing and monitoring the areas outside of the Church. The Security Team alerts others and responds quickly to improve the safety of those associated with the church.
Membership: Members over the age of 18 years
Meeting Time: Every Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Membership: Church membership regardless o age or gender
Meeting Time: Second Saturday at 10 a.m.

RLK Outreach Ministry

The RLK Outreach Ministry assists the Pastor in meeting the natural and spiritual need of those who are identified as needing help. It also serves to provide necessary support to the Pastor and his family as the carry out numerous tasks associated with their responsibilities to the church and to the community.
Membership: Church Membership
Meeting Time: Every First Saturday at 11 a.m.

Junior Ushers

Youth ushers both the 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services on the second and fifth Sundays, all youth services, and, as requested, at other services. Youth ushers distribute church bulletins, greet and allow parishioners to enter at the appropriate times and aid in helping them locate seats.
Membership: Baptized members who are at least 8 years old
Meeting Time: First Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Senior Ushers

Ushers serve as doorkeepers in the house of God by monitoring and controlling the entering and exiting of parishioners and visitors. This is accomplished with pleasant smiles and warm welcomes while directing them to and from comfortable seats.
Membership: Members over the age of 21 years
Meeting Time: First Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
